I’m Walkin’ Here Tours

I started walkin’

After a decade-plus of solving briefs for Fortune 500 Companies, I put my own money where my mouth was and launched a woman-owned NYC tour company, complete with branding.

The first 6 months of 2026 saw:
• 5x revenue compared to all of 2025
• 100% five-star reviews across TripAdvisor and Google
• Gained more than 1,700 followers on combined social channels
• 100% five-star reviews across TripAdvisor and Google
• All on a bootstrapped budget and a ton of gumption.

Naming and identity

The name “I’m Walkin’ Here” is a wink at one of the most quoted movie lines set in NYC, reframed contextually for walking tours. The logo is a nod to the city's most underrated local celebrity: the humble pigeon, illustrated with all the personality and energy of the tours themselves. And the palette had to include yellow. Eye-catching, unique, and quintessentially NY.

Brand voice and website

The site had to convert browsing into bookings without losing the personality that convinces someone to spend two hours walking a city with a stranger. I developed the brand voice across tour descriptions and copy, then designed the UX to get visitors from "this looks fun" to "book now" in as few clicks as possible.

Social Content

I run imwalkinheretours across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube, developing and producing short-form content that turns the brand's personality into scroll-stopping video, and most importantly, bookings.

out-of-home presence

A tour brand lives on the street, not just on a screen. I designed a physical identity to take advantage of that: business cards, review cards, branded stickers, hand sanitizer (a guest favorite and a walking billboard), and a branded flag that doubles as way-finding for groups and a piece of street-level advertising.

REsults

I’m Walkin’ Here Tours is small, but growing. A new Dog Tour of Central Park is gaining buzz. I book private tours at $125/hour, run three signature public tours, seasonal tours, and real guests are spreading the word, proof that I can take a brand from zero to a working business, not just a deck.
